Lester was a very wonderful father & husband. And an amazing Papa! If you knew him, you also loved him! His passing was sudden and still seems unreal at times. He was the "backbone" of my family and we are lost without him! I hope he knows how much we love him. And we miss him with every breath we take! He always had a way of making us smile, even when we didn't want to.
He was a mechanic/defabrication specialist. He always kept our vehicles running.
His nick-name is "Bull".
He is originally from Kirksville, Missouri.
He survived by his wife Jean Dixon; 3 sons: Jason(Katie)Clay, Steven Clay, and David(Karen)Capps; 2 daughters: Christy Hatfield and Dottie Lambeth; and 11 grandchildren: Gracie, Jason, John David, Joseph, Dylan, Emily, Bethany, Bruce, Chase, Kelton, & Kaiden; father Guy Dixon; sister Evelyn (Jacob)Jeffries; 2 brothers Guylee (Pat)Dixon and Stanley (Janie) Dixon; 1 neice & 3 nephews.

my father

I remember his hands hard as steel,
but never was I without a meal.
He was with me throughout my childhood,
his love was unconditional, and he always understood.

A strong love I thought we did shard,
but why did he leave without a care?
When he left, I was devastated,
and alot of times quite aggravated.

My father gave up everything he had,
sometimes I think he must have gone mad.
This all from a wonderful man,
in my heaRT I JUST don't understand
